"One should either be a work of art or wear a work of art."

East to West Vintage was conceived as a living shrine to the feminine. As a space in which to indulge the whimsical, romantic and glamorous within. As a reminder of the healing potential of beauty and joy. And as a way to reclaim for ourselves a love and respect for the feminine body.

East to West Vintage is as much a personal project as a business venture, an integration between who our founder, Sheba Remy Kharbanda, is and what she has to offer the world.

At East to West Vintage we curate a distinctive collection of fine original vintage and vintage-inspired dresses featuring striking prints, unique designs and elegant cuts that are reminiscent of styles from the 1960's through the 1980's. Our selection and choices are guided by our personal tastes and affinity with pieces, many of which originally occupied Sheba Remy's closet.  We have a policy at East to West that if we aren’t inspired to wear an item, we will not include it in the collection.

Each of our pieces is infused with a timeless quality, a touch of effortless elegance, old-school glamor and boldness, which not only offer our clients a unique one-of-a-kind experience but also a liberating one. As a metaphysician, Remy believes that adorning the body can be both cathartic and healing. Indeed, the practice of beautifying the body as a way to honor and create space for the divine is an ancient practice originating in many cultures from Asia to the Americas.

In a time where we seem to be relentlessly marching towards the future,  where resources seem ever scarce and our impact upon our environment ever greater, we at East to West Vintage seek to find beauty and value in the forgotten and to breathe life into articles of the past, of finding new life in previously loved garments. Through our selection of timeless pieces, we offer a fun and fanciful nod towards what has passed but still lives on - a metaphor for what lives within our inner and personal lives as well.

Our goal at East to West Vintage is to provide a platform to indulge the senses, to dream and to time-travel to another era. East to West Vintage seeks to honor the divine feminine, the goddess, who resides in full color in each one of us.  May East to West Vintage be of service in your quest to create time and space for reveling in the beauty and power of authentic femininity.
